Ted has over 25 years in professional boxing. Starting at the age of 13 as a journalist, and graduating to Matchmaker & Director of Operation for promoter Jimmy Burchfield and Classic Entertainment & Sports, with whom he worked with for close to 20 years. In 2003 he was the youngest to ever be named NABF Matchmaker of the Year. Ted still maintains a close relationship with CES Boxing.
 

In 2005, Ted began learning how to work corners as a cutman, as well as the art of wrapping hands. Over the years he has perfected his own technique in dealing with both, and has worked many corners throughout the last 15 years.

As a matchmaker, Ted has worked with many champions including fighters such as: Daniel Alicea,  Gary Balletto, Chad Dawson, Jason Estrada, Matt Godfrey, Glenn Johnson, Peter Manfredo, Jr., Ray Oliveira, Vinny Pazienza, Scott Pemberton, Jason Pires, Joe Smith, Jr., Julian Wheeler & Many More!
